The 36th Annual Charleston Boat Show set to kick-off three days of boating fun
January 18, 2016JBM & Associates, management company for The Charleston Boat Show, announces plans for The 36th Annual Charleston Boat Show, better known as the biggest boat show and sale in the Lowcountry.
“For the first time ever, we will open two hours early on Friday exclusively for a VIP audience,” said boat show manager, Jacqui Bomar.
Between 10am and noon on Friday, January 29th, those who want the first peak at all the newest boat models, equipment and services, will have the opportunity for early access as dealers from all over the southeast showcase brand new powerboats of all sizes. For a ticket price of $35, VIP’s not only get early access on Friday, but also get into the show for no charge over the entire weekend, an official boat show t-shirt, commemorative poster, drink tickets and a breakfast buffet. They also receive increased odds to win great prizes and giveaways!
“It’s a great value and we’re excited to offer this new program,” said Bomar. Often times, at the start of the show, the line is so long. This will give serious boaters the luxury of taking their time looking at the hundreds of boats and talking to the experts without dealing with the crowds,” she added.
The Charleston Boat Show is a long-standing tradition in this coastal community. Now, in its 36th year, the show has grown into a reunion of sorts for boating enthusiasts who look forward to finding great deals on new boat models, and learning about the latest trends in marine products and services. The Charleston Boat Show is also filled with fun for the entire family. The show consistently attracts 10,000+ attendees who make their way to the Charleston Area Convention Center in North Charleston from all over the Carolina’s and beyond.
Boating enthusiasts can find just about anything they are interested in. The southeast’s best boat dealers and manufacturers will be on-hand to answer questions. These are the people with the knowledge to teach novice boaters as well as the more experienced. There is no other place you can go and see this variety of powerboats and accessories. There are endless choices, along with quality educational fishing seminars.
On Saturday, January 30, the event kicks into high gear with the Coastal Fishing Expo, a DNR fishing simulator, pirate treasure hunts as well as kids’ fishing classes, with the opportunity for each child to take home their own free rod and reel.
